Mainly used off-road, tires do a poor job clearing mud.February 29, 2020I run a set of 37x12.50x17 that I have on my Jeep Wrangler. I do serious off-roading with my wrangler and these tires have been slightly disappointing on and off road. As everything they were nice when they were new but I only have 8000 miles on them and they are already below half life even after proper rotations. People claim they get 30k or 40k miles out of these and I can’t imagine that’s accurate. Also if you plan on using these tires in real mud, don’t bother. They do not clear out like they claim to and they basically become slicks in deep mud so what’s the point? I would not run these tires again unless I was building a show rig that would never see mud.
